Sports
In USA there are a lot of sports and everybody follows them. I was surprised by the fact that womenare also interested in them.
During the time we were there, the sports that were taking place were american football and baseball. In these two sports, Boston has two very good teams: New England Patriots (that is the current champion of american football) and the Red Sox (which are in the final playoffs of baseball)
There, the national sport is the baseball, everybody follows it and so, me too.
The Red Sox met the New York Yankees in the semi-final, these teams are eternal rivals, and this became the main theme of conversation for the Americans and for us, the Spanish. After six exciting matches the seventh one and definitive arrived just the day before living. The Red Sox won and every-one was happy. Now to wait for them to win the final.
Apart from the baseball which I followed it by the T.V.I have to say and thank you to the family, I went to the Celtics stadium and I could watch a pre-season basketball match. It was a good experience, although It was not a very good match.
And if this was little, I also saw play baseball, american football and field hockey to the american family´s children who were very sporting.
So I satiated me of sports and I didn´t mind it because sports are my favourite hobby.
I also have to write that I missed to practice sports. Teachers had said to us and I hoped that, after the classes we would make some sport activities but it couldn´t be. It doesn´t matter.

My name is Elizabeth Holden but my friends call me Liz.
I´m 17.
- So, you go to school. Do you like your school?
Yes, I enjoy going to school. It´s very big and there, I meet my friends, I can study the subjects I like.
- How many subjects do you have and what´s your favourite?
7 subjects. I think chorus is my favourite.
- Apart from school, do you do any job?
Yes, I usually work in a petrol station on Sundays.
- Oh very interesting. I was surprised by the fact that here you can drive at the age of 16. Have you got any car?
Yes, I have one and I drive it everyday, I always go to school by car.
- Have you ever been in Spain?
Yes, I went to Spain 2 years ago. I was in Alcalá de Henares. I liked it. It is a very fun city.
- And what do you think about this exchange?
Oh I think It´s really interesting. It´s a good experince, we can learn languages, we can meet new people from different places and it´s very funny. I think It´s a good idea. Don´t you think?
- Yes, I agree with you. Would you like to go to Spain again?
Yes, I am going to go next year.
- Really? Very good then, I hope you to interview me next year.
