Spanish Teacher

I teach Spanish Level 1, 2 and 3 at Peabody High School. The classes are grammar and conversation focused using Latin American Spanish and some Spanish “vosotros” forms. My students think that conjugating the irregular verbs is very difficult. My students like speaking Spanish with other students in the class. They prefer to speak it, rather than write it. Vocabulary in Spanish is easy for them because there are many cognates in Spanish and English like normal/normal, regular/regular, principal/principal.

I enjoy teaching Spanish and I teach five classes per day. All students at Peabody High School must take two years of one foreign language. We offer Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Latin, French, German and Greek.

The Spanish classes are the most popular in our school. There are eight Spanish teachers and five difficulty levels, Spanish 1-5.
